Wedding bells are in the air; congratulations on your recent engagement! We know that planning a wedding takes an enormous amount of work – let us handle the transportation! Getting your guests safely and efficiently from the ceremony to the reception, and even back to their hotels, is extremely important.

At Gettysburg Group Reservations, we’re happy to provide our all-encompassing transportation services to help you and your guests fully enjoy your special day. Our drivers have decades of experience providing wedding transportation – here is some of their best advice to plan a smooth, fun-filled day!

Communication is Key

As with most aspects of a successful wedding (and marriage!), communicating with your guests clearly is the best way to keep your wedding day running smoothly. Be sure to let your guests know that transportation will be provided for some or all aspects of the day, depending on how you choose to utilize our services.

Reserve A Date Early

Again, this rule applies to most everything in wedding planning; as soon as a date is set in stone, your transportation should be next in line. Reaching out to us sooner is always better! With more time to plan, we will be able to offer you a wider variety of dates and times to best suit your schedule.

Determine Hotel Locations

Did you know we’ll also provide transportation back to your guests’ hotel at the end of the reception? Simply choose your hotel location and provide us with the address, and we’ll make sure that all of your guests are safely transported back to their rooms at the end of your amazing night.

Give Us a Number

When you send your wedding invitations, include a line which allows guests to check off whether or not they plan to use your provided transportation. Then, as your RSVPs come rolling in and you eventually land on a final head count, be sure to let us know so we can finalize the size and quantity of vehicles and number of trips.

Provide a Point-of-Contact

The day of the wedding, a point-of-contact will eliminate the possibility of last-minute snafus and unnecessary stress on the bride and groom. Many couples choose their wedding planner or a highly trustworthy family member to handle communication, so they can spend their day focused on each other!
