Meet the Staff
Max Felty
Max is the president of Gettysburg Group Reservations. He has worked in the tourism industry since 2008 in Gettysburg and specifically in group sales since 2009. As a long-standing board member of Destination Gettysburg and other industry organizations, Max has stayed current with the latest in group trends to help GGR to innovate and offer new, exciting products to their clients. He has a passion for the travel industry and loves to spread the word about all the incredible things Gettysburg has to offer.
Linda Himes
Linda joined the staff in 2019 and is the Gettysburg Group Reservation Specialist. She too fell in love with Gettysburg at a very young age. She spent countless childhood hours biking on the battlefield, camping at local campgrounds and exploring the town itself. After teaching in Northeastern School District York County for 30 plus years, she retired and moved to Gettysburg in June of 2015 to begin her new adventure. She worked for the Gettysburg Foundation at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center at the ticket counter, theater and Cyclorama, the David Wills House and the Lincoln Train Station. Working with GGR hits all the high notes for Linda. Being a people person, she continues to work with wonderful customers and she also gets to help them enjoy this very special place that she now calls home.
Maureen Follmer
Maureen became a staff member of Gettysburg Group Reservations in the summer of 2015. As a member and past President of the Wyoming Valley Civil War Roundtable, she began volunteering for the National Park Service in Gettysburg more than 20 years ago. Because of her fondness for the area, Maureen made the move from northeastern PA to Gettysburg in 2013. As the Senior Reservation Specialist, she is able to utilize her extensive Customer Service skills and knowledge of the area to plan your next memorable visit to Gettysburg while keeping your budget and specific needs in mind.
