With strawberry season upon us for our June recipe we would offer you this wonderful delicious idea for a summer treat. Enjoy!
- 2 ½ Cup of heavy cream, whipped
- 2 tbsp. cold water
- 2 cups of crushed strawberries
- 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin
Crush strawberries and press through a sieve. Add sugar. Mix cold water and gelatin in a small bowl. Place bowl in boiling water to dissolve the gelatin. When dissolved add to the strawberries. Chill. When the mixture is cold and slightly thickened, fold in whipped cream. Freeze.
