The August recipe is for Sandwich Skewers. They sound delicious.
- French bread
- Ham slices
- Swiss cheese slices
- Pickle slices
Slice bread and cut slices in half. Spread with mayo, and add ham, cheese and pickles like any other sandwich. Butter outsides of slices: slide sandwich onto a roasting stick, making sure to skewer the pickles, too!
Hold over hot coals until bread is toasted and cheese is a bit melted. Remove from stick and enjoy!
