Pennsylvania’s Cryptids Presented by Rissa Miller March 15th at 5 PM

Wander in the Woods: Meet Pa’s Cryptids presented by Rissa Miller on March 15th at 5 PM.  What lurks in the dark forest or swims in the deep waters of Pennsylvania? Meet your local, neighborhood cryptids. These beloved beasts offer different ways to understand the history of the state. Be it the Sea Serpent winding through the Susquehanna River, the sinister werewolves of Lancaster County, or the sobbing Squonk from Franklin County’s hemlock forests, each of these monsters will spark your imagination and make you wonder what is possible in the shadows, just at the edge of your mind’s eye… Even as cryptids are having a burst of popularity – PA’s furry little Albatwitch has its own festival – their history and stories extend back in history. These mysterious creatures have been with us for thousands of years, changing and evolving as we do, reflecting their region’s personal story.

A presentation that you won’t soon forget!!

Presentation will be held at the Orphanage located at 777 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA. Please check in at the Gettysburg Tour Center located at 778 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA.
