With an early Easter this year , we would like to feature a recipe that puts good use to the leftover ham from your dinner. The recipe is taken from the Cookbook “Amish Cooking” and is available for purchase at the Gettysburg Tour Center.
Macaroni, Cheese and Ham Casserole
- 2 cups macaroni, cooked
- ½ pound of cubed cheddar cheese
- 1 10 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups cubed ham
- 3 cups of milk
Combine all ingredients and put into a greased 2 ½ qt. casseroles dish. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake 1 hour in a preheated 350 degree oven. Serves 6.
