Living History Demonstrations & Events–Rupp House

The Gettysburg Foundation invites you to join them for the Rupp House 2015 Living History Demonstrations & Events.  The Rupp House was home to John and Caroline Rupp and their six children, during the Battle of Gettysburg, when the Rupp House saw action from both the Union and Confederate soldiers.

Offered on various weekends April through October 2015, these events are free and open to the public.  Stop by the Rupp House to experience these events and living history programs depicting how life, for both the soldier and private citizen, was lived during that turbulent time.  From a Civil War Generals Encampment, to a presentation by an Antebellum Marine Band, to an exhibit of a CSA Field Hospital – you will learn first-hand the effect this war had on so many.

These demonstrations run from approximately 10am to 4pm unless otherwise noted.

For a complete schedule of these activities or for more information, please visit,  call 717-339-2155 or email.
