Flag Day freebies

american-flag On June 14th we celebrate Flag day. The very first Flag day was in 1877, 100 years after the flag became one of the symbols of America. President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation calling for a nationwide observance on June 14th.

Why red, white and blue. Continental congress chooses these colors because red stood for hardiness and courage. White stood for purity and innocence. Blue stood for Justice and vigilance.

We at the Hall of Presidents would like to invite you to celebrate Flag day with us. We will have Flag themed coloring sheets for children as well as a flag goodie bag as our gift to you with any purchase. Also while you are there register to win a basket filled with Red, White and Blue items. One per customer and while supplies last. We hope to see you there!
