Battlefield Bio: Rose Little

If you were to take a peek behind the scenes of the Soldiers’ National Museum, one face you would certainly see is Rose Little’s. As Manager of the museum, Rose keeps everything running smoothly, while ensuring that the museum stays fresh, appealing, and inviting to new generations of visitors. She’s been with the company for four years now, and we’re already looking forward to the next four!

Rose is no stranger to Gettysburg—she’s lived just down the road in McSherrystown her whole life. Before joining our team, she was the Leasing Manager for Town & Country, and held several other retail positions (but now she’s ours!). A skilled cook and gardener, she also enjoys crocheting.

Rose’s favorite exhibit at the Soldiers’ National Museum is the Civil War Artifacts display. She has a deep love for Civil War history, so the timeless artifacts truly resonate with her. Managing the museum has been a joyful experience, “every day is different–the perfect job!” She offers this advice to visitors: “There is a lot to see and do. Take your time, it is a sobering but beautiful place.”

Visit the Soldiers’ National Museum at 777 Baltimore Street in Gettysburg, and say “hello” to Rose. Call 717-334-4890 today for information!
