Remembrance Day – 148th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address

Four score and sixty-eight years ago, President Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. On Saturday, November 19th, we will celebrate that memorable moment at the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg. At 9:30 AM, a Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held at the Soldiers’ National Monument. Stephen Lang (Gods and Generals, Gettysburg, Avatar) will be the speaker and, at 9:45, Jim Getty will portray Abraham Lincoln. Stick around awhile: at 10:30 the US Colored Troops will perform a Graveside Salute and at 1:30 the Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremonies will be held. This is a free event, so don’t miss it!
