D-Day Anniversary Weekend

June 6, 1944 – The WWII invasion of Normandy, France, better known as D-Day. General Eisenhower prefaced the invasion by transmitting, “You are about to embark upon the great crusade, toward which we have striven these many months.”

June 2-3, 2012 – The D-Day 68th Anniversary Weekend, featuring WWII living historians who will reenact the time period while interacting with visitors. Learn about Eisenhower and the Men of D-Day as part of a unique historic experience.
