FRIDAY, JULY 4th

  8:30 – Gates Open & Your Adventure Begins

  9:00 – General Longstreet reveals his involvement at Gettysburg  (Tent 1)

  9:30 – Dr. Hunter McGuire interprets the medical challenges at Gettysburg (Tent 2)

10:00 – Federal Generals consider their options for the battle   (Activities Tent 1)

10:30 – The spies and Intrigue of the Civil War  (Activities Tent 2)

11:00 – Music performed by the Second South Carolina String Band   (Tent 1)

11:30 – An overview of the United States Christian Commission (Tent 2)

12:00 – Actor and Historian Patrick Falci entertains the crowd with Historic Insights into the making of the film “Gettysburg”   (Activities Tent 1)

12:30 – How to become a REENACTOR presented by The American Living History Education Society (ALHES)   (Activities Tent 2)

  1:00 – Live Mortar Fire Demonstration. Watch as the balls fly through the air to their target with an explosive ending.   Field Demonstration

  2:00 – The Confederate Generals plan for victory at Gettysburg and why   (Tent 2)

  2:30 – Ghostly Tales of Historic Gettysburg told by Johlene “Spooky” Riley of Gettysburg Ghosts Tours. (Activities Tent 1)

  3:00 – The Ladies of the Dixie Rose Relief tells about their efforts to keep the home fires burning  (Activities Tent 2)

  3:30 – Tillie Pierce, “The story of the girl who survived”  (Activities Tent 1)

  4:00 – General Meade will give you his insight on his new promotion   (Tent 2)

  4:30 – Music performed by the 46th PA Brass Band   (Activities Tent 1)

  6:00 – Battle: Just in the Nick of Time – Cavalry & Infantry Arrive. Action at McPherson Ridge

 

SATURDAY, JULY 5th

  9:30 – The spies and intrigue of the Civil War    (Activities Tent 2)

10:00 – Tillie Pierce, “The story of the girl who survived”   (Tent 1)

11:00 – Cavalry Battle: Farnsworth’s Fatal Charge. Actions at the South Cavalry Field

11:00 – Live Mortar Fire Demonstration: Watch as the balls fly through the air to their target with an Explosive ending.    Field Demonstration

12:30 – Actor Patrick Falci tells the tales of the making of the movie “Gettysburg” (T2)

  1:00 – General Longstreet explains his involvement at Gettysburg  (Tent 1)

 9:00 – Attend a Period Worship Service (Tent 1) or a Catholic Service (Tent 2)

10:00 – Federal Generals confer about their options for the battle   (Tent 1)

10:30 – Civil War Medicine – the good, the bad and the ugly.   (Activities Tent 2)

11:00 – Cavalry Battle: Heroic Counter Attack – Custer vs. Stuart East Cavalry Field

12:00 – The story of the Spies and Intrigue of the civil war   (Activities Tent 1)

12:30 – Actor and Historian Patrick Falci entertains the crowd with Historic Insights into the making of the film “Gettysburg”   (Activities Tent 2)

 1:00 – The Confederate Generals narrate their journey to Gettysburg         (Tent 1)

 1:30 – The Ladies of the Dixie Rose Relief speak about their efforts to keep the Home Front Fires burning    (Activities Tent 2)

 2:30 – Battle: High Tide at the Angle – Pickett’s Charge

All Battles are narrated by Gettysburg National Military Park Licensed Battlefield Guides.

All reenactment activities held at the reenactment site on Pumping Station Road.
